Day 20 of 365: The Times They Are a Changin'

Happy Inauguration Day, everyone! I must say, that after almost a decade, it feels good to be an American once again.

By now the nation's 44th President has held his post for 2.5 hours.

I was fortunate enough to have today off, and was able to watch the ceremony from the comfort of my own living room. And boy, I'm glad I wasn't at work because it was very VERY emotional for me. I couldn't stop crying.

Maybe it was because I felt like FINALLY, my voice has been heard? Maybe it's because a weight has been lifted off of many peoples' shoulders because now Bush is out of office? Maybe it was seeing history being made?

But I rejoiced, screamed, and clapped as I watched the ceremony.

And I might get a hat like Aretha's....what do you think?

At any rate....here's to the future because we're done with the past! And here's to hope, change, and happiness!
