Day 327 of 365: Happy Memorial Day/Bank Holiday Monday

A four day weekend has come and gone....but today was a lovely day.

Woke up around 8am because I knew we were going to go visit the cats today.

Spike, unfortunately, wasn't brushed out as much as he needed when he was with his last owner, so tomorrow he is heading into the vet's so he can have a shave. The mats are so close down to his skin that the animal shelter couldn't risk brushing them out because it would really hurt Spike.

So we took lots of photos, mostly blurry since the boys wouldn't stop moving around:

Should find out at lunch tomorrow how Spike survived the shaving, so will give a call to the shelter for an update.

Just want the week to fly by, so we can bring the boys home!

Alsoooooo.....going up to London on the 7th to meet Jamie's Mom, and to see Jamie, Alan, and baby Reagan!!! Good thing Ian bought us a new camera yesterday. :)

Day 326 of 365: Rainy Day Fun

Chris stalking...

Went down to Portsmouth with Lucy and Chris today to a WWII/D-Day re-enactment and memorabilia show. It rained, and it was a cold rain, but we all had a great time.

Chris bought a grenade, and poor Ian didn't get his rifle, but hopefully soon. Although he DID get two cool jackets.

The photo above, Ian posed with the guy who began to speak in a German accent, then switched to cockney. He was NOT one of the "actors" but was just dressed like that because that's what he likes to do. He even had Nazi rings! Some people just take it TOOOOOO far.

Afterwards, we went to The Hampshire Hog for a drink and a really good bite.

Then we went by Cheesefoot Head, where Chris took this picture of us from far away.

Was a really good day. :)

Day 325 of 365: FINALLY!

I FINALLY passed my driving test today. Had my exam at 8:10am, and my examiner this time around was really nice and realistic. My instructor rode in the car with us, so I think that helped ease my stress a little bit as well.

Only had 3 minor faults too!

Look out world, I'm on the road again! :)

And got lovely pressies from K and Ian. Thank you!
